Opened in 1978, with a fabulous John Harris design, the golf course formerly known as "Golf de Poniente" was renamed in 2015 as "T-Golf & Country Club". It’s one of the oldest and most respected courses on the island, and it retains the kind of status that is afforded to the older Scottish clubs in Britain. It is a favourite of British and German golfers staying in the coastal resorts around Palma, which is just 12 km away.
The 18 hole, par-72 layout measures 6,426 metres and runs through a beautiful rolling hills. Woodland pines, lakes, sweeping terrain, numerous bunkers, and large & quick greens, all conspire to make this one of the most enjoyable rounds you will ever play.
The views from the 8th and 11th holes alone are worth a visit giving you an appreciation for the rugged beauty of this course, which is frequently regarded as the best designed golf course on Mallorca. Its signature par-4 14th hole is unforgettable!
The first four holes are a gentle start but soon enough the course reveals its guile at the intriguing stretch between the 7th and 13th holes.
The 8th hole plays blind and steeply downhill with a ravine to the right. Place your drive onto the fairway and you’ll have a medium iron left to a big green surrounded by palms and panoramic views. The best is still to come.
The 14th, will scare you at the tee. Water and reed beds loom large and to the right, bunkers guard the run-off at the fairway end. The green at first seems unreachable, but it is possible to carry the water with a sweet strike.
The recently renovated clubhouse is a perfect place to unwind and chat about the day’s golf. Offering personalised service and excellent cuisine you can enjoy a meal in the Restaurant T-elicious or just sit and relax with a beer and enjoy the magnificent view from the restaurant's terrace.
