Renowned for its excellent service and striking decor, the Son Caliu Hotel & Spa Oasis has become a firm favourite with golfers seeking a little extra luxury in peaceful surroundings.

Surrounded by mature subtropical gardens, the Son Caliu Hotel & Spa Oasis is located in a quiet residential area just 700 meters from the beach and resort of Palmanova.  However, the hotel has direct access to its own small beach.

All of the guest rooms and suites were refurbished in 2017.  They are elegantly decorated and tastefully furnished, and are suitably equipped for a hotel of this standard.  The spa area may be the perfect place to unwind and relax after 18 holes of golf, with some treatments especially for golfers.

You can enjoy Mediterranean and international cuisine at the hotel's Biniagual buffet restaurant, where an á la carte service is also available.  The Capricho Cocktail bar or the Terraza Garden bar are perfect locations for enjoy a drink before dinner, or for formulating the evening's plans. Magalluf and the stylish Portals marina, with their vibrant but contrasting nightlife, are only minutes away by taxi.

Our Comments:

The staff at the Son Caliu Hotel & Spa Oasis really know how to deliver great service, and this gives the hotel an almost 5 star feeling. With plenty of information about golf courses and tournaments it's clear that the hotel knows how to look after golfers.

The hotel is in a residential area, and whilst there are some local bars that are popular with golfers, nightlife 'on the doorstep' is a little limited. However, Palmanova is only a short walk away, where there are many bars and restaurants, and Magalluf and Portals Nous, are just a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Prices at this hotel have risen in recent years, and whilst it no longer offers excellent rates for groups, it still offers reasonable value for money for parties of 8 or less golfers.
