The Protur Naisa Palma was constructed in January 2019, and is centrally located. It’s just a 5 minute stroll from the seafront, very close to the Jaime III, known for its shops and boutiques, and also Santa Catalina, a great place to head to in the evenings for its wide variety of restaurants.

The hotel’s 99 modern and cosy rooms are all fully air conditioned and soundproofed. They offer accommodation for 2 people with free Wifi & Smart TV, and a full bathroom (with complimentary toiletries) which has underfloor heating. There’s a safe and mini-fridge in the room too.

The lobby area is a very functional space at this hotel, with areas for sitting and relaxing - perhaps with a drink. Located next to the lobby is where you’ll find the hotel’s Cafeteria / Snack bar. A varied breakfast buffet is available in the morning, as well as a daily menu and a weekend brunch.

The Roof Chill-out Terrace, the location of the hotel’s Sky Bar, is where you’ll find the open air pool. It’s also a great place for chilling out in the Summer if you’ve returned from golf and still have time for an hour or two in the sun.

The Leisure-Spa area of the Protur Naisa Palma is made up of Turkish bath and sauna, as well as heated pool with jacuzzi, and there’s a well equipped gym.

The hotel is just 8 km away from Palma airport (PMI), and the hotel has a private underground car-park if you’ve hired a car.

Our Comments:

For golfers there’s very little not to like about this hotel. Primarily it’s in a great location, just a few minutes from the Santa Catalina area, with its restaurants. It’s also not that far from the ‘Old Town’, or from the Plaza Mayor, which are two other great areas for eating and drinking.

The hotel is part of the Protur chain, and it’s their first venture outside of the North-East of the island, where the chain has a reputation for quality, coupled with excellent value for money. This hotel is no exception. The breakfast is ample and the clever use of the lobby space, with its numerous chairs / sitting areas, means that it’s a great place for meeting the rest of your party at any time of the day.

What is also excellent is that the hotel has its own private underground car-park. Whilst many of our golfers prefer to use our pre-booked transfer service, the car-park offers independent groups the opportunity to conveniently park a 9-seater Mercedes Vito directly under where they’re staying.

The sun terrace and pool area aren’t that substantial, so if you’re planning to spend as much time relaxing in the sun as being out on the fairways then this hotel may not be for you. However, the Sky Bar on the rooftop terrace is a great place for a glass of wine, or a beer, whilst you look over the rooftops and wait for the sun to set.
