The Innside Calvia Beach by Melia is a state-of-the-art hotel centrally located in Magaluf, and a 10 minute walk from ‘The Strip’. The area around the hotel has been completely modernised, and is home to the Momentum shopping centre and a 200-vehicle underground car park.

The hotel, shopping centre, and the adjacent Avenida de Magaluf, ensure an endless choice of shops, entertainment, restaurants, and bars.

The hotel offers a variety of room types all with good views, either across to the mountains, over the pool, or out to sea. The standard twin room (2 beds, 90cm by 200cm each) is the option most frequently chosen by our golfers, as it offers sufficient space for two people, and is equipped with everything you might need; a furnished balcony, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air-conditioning, safe, minibar, and a fully renovated bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Breakfast is served at the Food Factory, whilst guests choosing half-board have the option of dining each evening at one of 5 restaurants associated with the hotel. On the fifth floor of the hotel, the Rooftop Nine Lounge Bar is a great place for enjoying contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, as well as great cocktails and the best music!

The hotel has 4 modern swimming pools, one of which is currently the largest suspended pool in Europe. The PowerHouse Gym is open 24/7. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel means that you can easily WhatsApp your friends at home to let them know what a great days golf you’ve had! The closest course, T-Golf Poniente, is less than a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Our Comments:

With it’s suspended rooftop pool this excellent hotel has rapidly become the talking point of Magaluf, which is slowly being re-branded as Calvia Beach.

The bright, modern and well-equipped rooms are a feature of Melia, as is the friendly and reassuring service, and the great food - breakfasts are always good.

Its central location means that you’re never far away from a bar or a restaurant, and ‘The Strip’ isn’t on your doorstep, which means that you can choose whether or not you want a night out there. It’s also easy to get onto the road, with 7 golf courses less than 25 minutes away by road.

It’s great that this hotel is planning to be open for most of the year, as on average there’s less than 5 days a year when the weather makes it impossible to play golf.

The hotel is very cost-effective options, and whilst some items such as parking, and the in-room safe are at an additional cost, we’d highly recommend this hotel for your next stay.
