The Hotel Saratoga is an emblematic 4*Sup hotel located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca.  Dating from the early 1960’s, it is one of the first urban hotels of the City.  Regular renovations ensure it has adapted to meet modern requirements, and as such continues to offer its guests a luxurious and comfortable place to stay in an ideal location.

The hotel has 180 rooms distributed over 6 floors, most of which have a private balcony.  Their contemporary and elegant design, with unique features in each room, offer a high level of comfort in a harmonious atmosphere.

The hotel also boasts three swimming pools, one of which is a rooftop pool, a Wellness and fitness centre, conference facilities and a selection of comfortable and attractive public spaces.

The 7th floor boasts a restaurant where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Palma, whilst enjoying gastronomic treats proposed by Chef Juan Pinel.

In addition, on street level you’ll find the Gastrobar Saratoga, where guests and members of the public alike can enjoy dishes prepared with local and seasonal products, as well as a lunch menu from Mondays to Fridays.

Our Comments:

The location of this hotel already makes it a winner, being a short walk from the Santa Catalina district of Palma, with its extensive selection of places to eat and drink, close to high-quality shopping, and enjoying views of the Bay of Palma from the rooftop bar and pool.  The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable.

The hotel was renown in the past for its Jazz Bar, offering live music weekly.  Sadly, although there’s still many references to this, the hotel is no longer allowed to offer live music due to local licensing laws.  Despite this, it is regularly visited by locals taking advantage of the location, cuisine and atmosphere to enjoy food or drinks, giving it a cosmopolitan feel.  It’s a great place for sitting on the pavement terrace and people-watching.

An added bonus is the hotel’s car park – there are limited spaces payable at a daily rate which means pre-booking is essential.

We see this hotel as an ideal option for groups and couples alike.  Despite it being a city hotel, the various swimming pools and terraces give it a year-round appeal.  We see it as a great choice in our portfolio of Palma hotels.
