The Eurotel Punta Rotja in Costa de los Pinos has approximately 200 rooms on six floors, comprising of twins / doubles, junior suites & suites.

All the rooms are furnished to a high standard and have a terrace or balcony, with either sea or mountain views.  In addition, each room has an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, telephone, WiFi, satellite TV, air-conditioning / heating and a safety deposit box. 

The buffet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and offers a wide variety of local and continental dishes.  The privately owned and managed La Cabana à la carte restaurant, is can be found in the grounds of the hotel, and has views over the Mediterranean Sea.

The hotel's Thalassotherapy centre has 2 saunas, a Turkish steam bath, and an ice fountain as well as 14 treatment rooms offering a wide variety of quality treatments. 

There’s a large, lake-style pool on two levels, which is surrounded by landscaped gardens.  Nearby is a small man-made beach with a jetty, from which you can take a dip in the sea.  The hotel also has an indoor pool, 4 x clay tennis courts and a gym.

Our Comments:

The service and facilities at this hotel are excellent.  It's been popular with golfers for many years due to several reasons, although its location, within minutes of Son Servera golf course is probably the key to this.

The hotel is set on the edge of a pine forest, in a residential area, that is populated by many of the island's wealthy residents, and foreign millionaires - so it is incredibly quiet.

The hotel seems to captivate all who stay there, and we even had one couple who enjoyed their stay so much that they cancelled their return flights home and stayed at the hotel for another week!

The food is superb, and therefore we recommend staying on a half board basis.  However, should you elect to stay on a bed and breakfast basis, then you will almost certainly need to drive, or take a taxi, in the evenings as there are hardly any bars or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
