Bookings which include hotel accommodation and / or transport.

 

1. Making a booking and payment.

When you book with us we will discuss your hotel, tee-booking & transportation requirements, and then make the appropriate bookings on your behalf. Once you are satisfied with the bookings we have made, we will issue a Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice, requesting a deposit of 50€ per person, or the full cost of your ground package if your booking is within 6 weeks of departure.  We recommend that you purchase travel insurance at the same time as you make your booking with us. When making your booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept the terms of these booking conditions on behalf of your whole party.

Once we have received any payment from you a contract exists between us and all conditions became binding on both of us. Your contract with Simply Mallorca Golf SL is governed by Spanish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction on the courts of Spain. The person making the booking not only guarantees payment to us of the total cost of the package booked, but does so on behalf of and with the consent of all persons for whom the booking is completed. The balance of the holiday cost must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure, or 4 weeks if paying by credit / debit card.

If the deposit or balance payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and levy cancellation charges as laid out under condition number 3. Your contract is with Simply Mallorca Golf SL, trading as Simply Mallorca Golf.

It is most important that you check the Confirmation and Pro-Forma Invoice as soon as you receive it. If the Confirmation and Pro-Forma Invoice is not exactly what you require, and / or the costing is incorrect, then please notify us at once. We will deem the invoice as being correct if we are not made aware of any errors within 7 days of the document being issued.

2. If you amend your booking.

Should you wish to alter any part of your booking please notify us at once. We will always try to assist in such cases. Where an amendment to your booking is made more than six weeks before departure a maximum administration charge of 10€ per booking may be made, although usually this will be free of charge.

If the number of people in your party increases, the package price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size.  Please be aware that if any additional hotel rooms are required these may be at a higher cost to those originally booked.  There are no amendment charges when the booking size is increased.

If the number of people in your party decreases the package price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size.  Any increase in price per person as a result of part cancellation (e.g. sole occupancy charge in a twin), is not a cancellation charge and may not covered by your insurance. When the amendment is made within six weeks of departure the appropriate cancellation charges indicated in section 3 will be applied in all cases, but wherever possible we will try to provide you with the change requested.

If Simply Mallorca incurs any further costs a result of any amendment to your booking these costs will be passed on to you.

All amendments and name changes must be made in writing to Simply Mallorca and any charges will depend on the date written notification is received by us.

3. If you cancel your travel arrangements.

You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be e-mailed or sent to us confirming which reservations are to be cancelled. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum as shown below.

We can only accept written instructions to cancel your reservations, however these can be sent by e-mail.  We will acknowledge receipt of your e-mail cancelling your booking, however we cannot accept responsibility for cancellation charges arising from e-mail that is delayed or lost.  The date we acknowledge your e-mail will be the effective cancellation date of your booking.

Please remember that if the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim any charges.

Bookings which are only for green fees.

Once you are satisfied with the tee-bookings bookings we have made, we will issue a Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice, requesting a deposit of 50€ per person, or the full cost of your tee-bookings if your booking is within 6 weeks of departure.  When making your booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept the terms of these booking conditions on behalf of your whole party.

There are no amendment charges associated with increasing the size of your booking.

There are no amendment charges associated with decreasing the size of your booking provided that all changes are notified to us in writing at least 6 weeks prior to the date of play.  A decrease in the size of the booking within 6 weeks prior to the date of play will be treated as a cancellation of that player or players, and the appropriate charges indicated in section 3 will apply.

All amendments must be made in writing to Simply Mallorca and any charges will depend on the date written notification is received by us.

The maximum charges for amending tee-bookings are shown below, and in most cases these charges will be waived, unless Simply Mallorca incurs any further costs a result of any amendment to your tee-booking in which case these costs will be passed on to you.

The charges below will always be applied if documentation issued to you needs to be changed as a result of amendments you have requested.

Wet weather policy.

If wet weather is forecast and you request to change your tee-booking, we may charge an amendment fee as listed in section 2 of "Bookings which are only for green fees".

If it is raining but the course is open, then we will speak to the course on your behalf to see whether it is possible to re-schedule your tee-time. Any re-scheduling of tee-times will be entirely at the discretion of the management at the golf course, and cannot be guaranteed. In the event that we are unable to re-schedule your tee-time, and the management of the course are not willing to let you cancel at short notice, then you would be expected to play as planned. There would be no refund in the event that you choose not to play. You would not be expected to play during electrical storms.

If the course is closed due to rain, then we will offer to re-schedule your tee-time to another day. If that is not possible, or you do not wish to re-schedule your round, then we will refund your green fees in full for that day. (Clients who have also booked coach transport are advised to contact us before leaving the hotel, as we are unable to refund the cost of coach transport if you travel to the course and are unable to play golf as planned.)

If it starts to rain during your round, then we are deemed to have completed our contract with you. Any compensation in respect of being unable to play a full 18 holes (or 9 holes if on a 9 hole course) will need to be negotiated by you directly with the representative of that golf course. Each course has its own rules and regulations regarding 'rain-checks', and therefore it is not possible to provide guidance in respect of each course. If you experience any difficulty, please contact a member of our staff who will speak to the staff at the golf course on your behalf.

We realise how disappointing it is to experience wet weather on your holiday, and our team of staff will always do their utmost to assist you in the event of any inclement weather.
